We dive deep physically, but also deep within ourselves. Learn how to tap into your inner being & your power within through utilizing movement and breath. Both yoga & meditations are offered with freedive classes.

Yoga & Meditation

  • Movement.

    Freediving and Yoga go together like peanut butter & jelly. Before each freedive session, we will move and breathe together to prep the body for underwater movement.

    You will learn mindful breathing techniques that will stretch the lungs and surrounding tissues to increase your breathing capacity.

    You will also learn gentle stretching and light vinyasa movements to use before diving deep underwater.

  • Stillness.

    We will use meditation to teach you how to calm the mind before, during, and after freediving sessions. Static breath-hold practice will be offered with guided meditation.

    This practice is essential for a healthy life. A calm mind offers a calm body.

    Anapana will be introduced as well as other techniques.
